Google account doesn't stay activated when synchronising

Hi there,

I’m running SFOS 5.1.0.11/Pispala on a Sony Xperia 10 III.

When trying to synchronise my contacts, calendar etc. with my Google account that I registered in my phone the account has to be re-activated again and again.

I can start the synchronisation (having activated the Google account) but the phone doesn’t show when the synchronisation is done nor does the account I synch to/from stay activated.

Why is that?

How can I synchronise correctly if I’m doing anything wrong?

I would take it as a sign from your Daimon to de-google your life and focus on privacy…:man_detective:

Same here on a XA2+ with 5.1.0.11.

So, worth a proper bug report?

Bug report is most probably already created?

I guess this is the famous “password not accepted” bug for accounts.

As re-creating (deleting, creating anew) “solved” that again for me.

This happened quite a few times already for standard accounts, so I am used to it

And I think this

could be the bug report even it it quite differently detailed. But in the end it seems like the same issue, or?

Thank you, @peterleinchen , but with me deleting and recreating the Google account didn’t help.

I’ll have to look into it further.

I don’t think it’s the same. In my particular case the other synchronisations work fine (email, calendar). It’s only contacts that are never being synchronised…
