Since 4.2.0.21 I haven’t seen the learnt fingerprints disappearing from the settings (like before) BUT couple of times I’ve seen that it stops reading the sensor (placing finger on sensor on does nothing on the unlocking screen). The aforementioned systemctl -command does fix it, too.
