Thus the v5a blobs are in the fast boot folder or only alone in it’s folder.
the v5a blob can be anywhere on your pc independent from the Sailfish install image.
You flash partitions like oem on your separately and indepenedent from other partitions as many times as you want.
In principle you can flash all the zambezi A13 and A14 blobs on the oem partition and leave anything else on your existing Sailfish installation (on the other partitions) intact and this way try all the existing blobs by running the command
fastboot flash oem SW…img

Hello I flashed my phone with the latest Asop 14_5_4_v5a. The result is worse, no Bt and no wifi and still no camera

Battery-% is changing.
No sim card and no mobile connection.
No bt and wifi.
May freeze after while. Vol up + power switch pressing help to cut off.

No, not for me. No freeze observed
Audio routing to headphone jack does not work, neither with v3a nor with v5a blobs. Working headphone jack is impotant when using high quality headphones/ audiophile listening

The phone is getting better after several (normal!) shutdowns -+ startups. Also took away unnecessary app (Patch manager from Chum). Otherwise, no wonder due to not working connections.
File manager shows a lot free memory.
Today I had a freeze with 5a blobs. Screen black and touch non resoonding and phone got really hot.
But in the end it is a non tested blob running with an OS not tailored towards these blobs, so real life impact probably very limited.
Just report it here for completeness reason and because @direc85 asked yesterday .

i think that we should report as a clear bugs:
- Missing mobile connection after couple of hours
- No audio routing to the jack connector
- Battery consummation (little warm phone even nothing is running and it is locked)

Update, I’m still on the last release with the recommended Sony download.
WLAN seams to work reliable so far.
I have to reboot a couple of times until is connects to the cell network and complains about a missing SIM even after it asked about the unlock code.
Sometimes Bluetooth looses connection and is only recoverable by reboot AFAIK. This requires me to reboot a lot until cell network and Bluetooth work both.
Any update on when a new build is downloadable for testing?
Any steps I should take to help trouble shoot issues?
