Feedback on Xperia 10 V

I do not hsve this issue with v4b blobs and underlying Android 14 (!)

I have the same problem. The freeze only occurs in android apps or the browser. Am using the v4b blobs too.

Weird, I also flashed over 14.

SFOS 5.0.0.62

Xperia 10 V & Amazfish & Stratos 3

/var/lib/bluetooth is now forming, but no info file so far.

Pairing perhaps little fastened.
Thus a little progress and hope.

Stratos 3 is mentioned in:
https://github.com/AmazFish/AmazFish-Documentation . :+1::ok_hand:

Question for people testing v4b blobs: does headphone jack works?

@yusssufff, headphone jack not working properly here after flashing the v4b blobs.
No audio gets routed to the jack.
Plugging in headphones briefly pauses the output, but then it restarts again on the loud speaker.
Unplugging the headphones pauses the output.
Pressing the play/pause button on the headphones, plays and pauses the play back on the loud speaker.
The app Audio Output Chooser doesn’t help. I cannot get audio to the headphones.

Is there any news on getting the camera working? I have scrolled through this thread, but did not read any progress?

According to the release notes for 5.0.0.67, there is no change.

Ok, but there is no timeline or anything? I mean let’s face it: for anyone that is not just a complete nerd techy the camera is a deal-breaker…

Unless I’m mistaken it’s up to Sony to release new driver blobs that actually work, and they’ll be in a position to either give or withhold an ETA on that.

Do we already know that v6 blobs from something like 4 weeks ago are still alpha? I was under the imperssion that Jolla wants to make some adjustments for SFOS to work with the most recent v6 blobs…

Typo corrected, thanks attah

In my personal perception the US duopoly mobile OS giants are much mire serios acting like Mafia than Jolla

IIUC mafia kills, extorts, force, rob the people. I don’t se that here. Also it’s not clear which errors you mean. They might be user fixable or even specific to the user. I don’t claim that there are no bugs but I can claim that many of them are fixed.
I do understand the frustration which I feel too now and then. But I don’t understand how the darkness in your comment that I see will help to improve the situation. At least it would NOT motivate me.
So I can’t connect your comment to SFOS reality.

Xperia 10 IV and 10 V

Still in the free trial phase. However, AppSupport is available - read this post. Download the installable images from the Shop.

The issues of 4.6.0.15 remain.

I just updated from .62 (I think) to .67 .

I had to repeat the process three times for it to work. It would download the update, say install is ready and go black for some minutes after choosing to install it. After that it would reboot and just be back at .62 login screen.

I was already typing this when the 3rd try actually worked. Screen went black, but then actually went to the Sailfish Upgrade screen and finished the update.

Anyone else have this?

The ports of MR. PIGGZ work perfectly in contrast to the supported Sony Xperia devices from Jolla Mafia Store…

On my 10 V the second try let me boot into .67 from .62. First update try did not work, download without any errors, but upon reboot it did not install at first try. I did not realize until next day the notification for .67 popped up. This time it went smooth into .67.
