Thanks to @mbrazi_1 and @catonyourcomputer I spent some time yesterday, flashing around and testing. Yes, I now have a working battery stat. What we still do not have, and wait from Jolla side, is camera (flash as well), fingerprint sensor, microphone (works only in calls), eSIM.
From the ~12 hrs of testing, battery seems to be on par with my xperia 10 iii. I will slip my SIM in 10 v today for further investigation.
The recipe for my final, and best yet, outcome is:
- Flash Android 13 with EMMA
- Lock bootloader and get the updates up to the first Android 14 version, 68.1.A.2.93 (unless you have the firmware files for it, in which case please let me know. Flashing the target firmware directly with newflasher will save you about an hour of waiting, locking and re-un-locking!)
- Re-unlock, and flash sfos 5.0.0.67 with blobs v4b (which is for Android 13 by the way)
I previously flashed over A14 68.1.A.2.187 with blobs v3a and v4b, but battery stats did not work for me. Now it seems to be OK.
