Feedback on Jolla C2

Greetings. Ive been interested in this phone for a while. Does anyone know how long it will be before its going to work in Australia ?

I don’t know if the (older) C2 is even produced anymore. You might want to take a look at the newer Jolla Phone 2 (J2) here: Jolla Phone (Sep-II 2026) – Jolla Shop

It’s at least regularly available on the second-hand market.

Hi,

I need some help getting Jolla’s attention. My C2 has a hardware SIM defect — neither slot detects any SIM card. I’ve exhausted all troubleshooting: both slots, ofono restart, and a complete reflash per official instructions. The SIM works in other devices.

I opened a Zendesk ticket over a month ago and have followed up multiple times. I have not received a single response — not even an acknowledgment.

I have the prepaid Posti return label from the original box ready to go, but without an RMA confirmation I don’t want to send the device into a void.

This is a 299€ device that has never been able to make a phone call. I’d really appreciate it if someone from Jolla could look into my case. Happy to share my ticket number privately.

Don’t worry, it is normal that answers on Zendesk take a lot of time

I mentioned earlier I couldn’t use the mail app anymore on the C2. Someone mentioned a workaround with some programming to fix this. Only, I never came around to do this.

But with the latest OS update, the mail problem is solved. I can send and receive mails now. I didn’t had to do anything to get it to work :grinning_face:
