DESCRIPTION:

Phone freezes for a while and then crashes when unplugging USB keyboard.

PRECONDITIONS:

None AFAIK.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Plug in USB keyboard.
  2. Maybe use it a little while…
  3. Unplug USB keyboard.

EXPECTED RESULT:

No crash or reboot

ACTUAL RESULT:

Crash/reboot of phone

@attah, what keyboard are you using with your Xperia?, thanks.

That shouldn’t matter for compatibility, and very likely not for this bug either.
I was using a Lenovo Thinkpad KU-1255.
My current phone (Xperia 10 II) seems not affected, and my current keyboard (Keychron K3) has optional Bluetooth, so haven’t checked if this problem still persists.

So currently, you are using a Keychron K3 with your Xperia 10 II ? …and it functions nicely?, interesting…i’d like to be able to do that, albeit the K3 seems expensive.

At least on 4.4. My 10 is not finding updates currently.

@Edz Any keyboard should work. No point in getting hung up on makes/models, same as for USB.
