Would be nice to get the exact model no. I suppose Dual SIM (Xperia 10 III dual XQ-BT52)?
yes -----------------------20 characters
In my case, the phone and location were the same compared to last year. That time, my XA2 single SIM received an alert notification, today it didnât.
So changes within SFOS might also be a factor.
you must be kidding, this is just insane
Unfortunately I am not kidding.
Sony XA2 (H3113) no CB display, XA2 (H4213) at least CB message - same provider/network, same cell.
Is there anyone in the forum who received CB messages with an H3113? Maybe different message IDâs like location add-onâs e.g. city location provided by Swiss providers?
Xperia 10 III, 4.5.0.24, Vodafone: no alarm, except for a message from Apocalypse
A friendâs 10 II, 4.5.0.24, AldiTalk: CB-Alarm worked
4.5.0.24 logged in with 4G and VOLTE support on Xperia 10 II - Dual SIM
No CB message
Well I have received a CB message with a H3113 last year. This time around, crickets.
Do you know, which Sony vendor image is in use (v16 or v17B) ?
SW_binaries_for_Xperia_Android_8.1.6.4_r1_v16_nile.zip
SW_binaries_for_Xperia_Android_8.1.6.4_r1_v17B_nile.zip
or maybe some image for Android 9 ?
In my case itâs v16 for Android 8.
Today national test of warning systems (including cell broadcast) in Germany - received the warning, but still without sound. Could this please be fixed?! A silent warning is not very useful, and this is an essential feature
Did not receive the warning on my Xperia 10 III with Sailfish 4.6.0.13 (Sauna) on Vodaphone.
My Android phone received the warning although it doesnât have a SIM.
I also received a silent warning on my XA2 (with Vodafone).
A warn message with sound would be useful and the warnmessage should be stored.
The display was off at that time.
I only saw the message when I pressed the power button to turn on the display (while my colleaguesâ iPhones and Androids were entertaining the whole office with their warning noises).
I did not expect this feature to be defunctional on newer phones (I still have an XA2 Ultra). Or might this be provider-dependent?
Quite possibly provider-dependent. I also receive normal text messages sent once by the sender multiple times on occasion, and a very long text message I wrote was only delivered to the recipient hours later once.
I did not receive any message. âŚ
Edit: on X10III with 2 simcards: 1
- freenet on t-mobile net and 2. Vodafone
Only warning for me was via Apocalypse some time after the alert.
On Wetell (which works on Vodafone network), Xperia 10 III, SFOS 4.6.0.13.
I also didnât recieve any sort of a message
neither with an Xperia 10 ii with Deutsche Telekom (Comgstar) SIM
nor with an Xperia 10 iii with Vodafone (Germany) SIM
No message -again- in an Xperia 10 III in Germany with German Vodafone SIM. My Android phone with Spanish SIM received it.
