Cannot select a seat on Vr matkalla app

Installed Vr Matkalla app to my new daily driver Jolla C2 and noticed that the seat cannot be selected with this either. Jolla C2, Tampella 5.0.0.55, microG 0.3.6.244735.

Earlier I had reported that it works without microG so could that be a microG related problem?

when installing MicroG after granting permissions the permission “Play Store (Phonesky) has correct signature” breaks the app.
