Can not send SMS after update to 4.4.0.72

OSVERSION: 4.4.0.72
HARDWARE: Sony Xperia 10 II - Dual SIM - xqau52 - xqau52 - 0.0.2.152 - aarch64
UI LANGUAGE: English (UK) (user: en_GB, os: en_GB.utf8)
REGRESSION: yes (since: 4.4.0.68 - aarch64)

DESCRIPTION:

Since latest update, I can’t send any SMS anymore. It always fails. Receiving SMS is still possible.

PRECONDITIONS:

Provider O2 Germany

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Write an SMS
  2. Send it
  3. Wait for message “Problem with sending message”

EXPECTED RESULTS:

SMS is send and received by recipient

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Message was not sent. Error message was shown.

MODIFICATIONS:

  • Patchmanager: yes
  • OpenRepos: yes
  • Chum: yes
  • Other: no:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Device Owner User: defaultuser
Home Encryption: enabled

Do you have VoLTE enabled? Please see this thread: When VoLTE is active sending sms not possible - SFOS 4.4.0.72

Sorry, didn’t notice that. You’re right. It was enabled and SMS are send when disabling it.

Will close this issue as duplicate.
