For SMS and call voice, i resolved my problems : Network settings for SMS and voice calls for Bouygues Télécom and co (Fr)
Still not working on 5.0.0.55 for german congstar (telekom)
UPDATE: Provider Hot on A1 network has only recently started to enable LTE despite A1 long history with LTE.
Sending MMS is the only thing that doesn’t work. Will test again after 5.0.0.55 upgrade.
Still need to test Bob on native A1 network.
Austria
HOT
slot 1
C2
5.0.0.55
phone in / out works
sms in / out works
mms sending: (failed) works after settings update
Isn’t hot t-mobile? Yesss is A1. Hot has Eu tarrifs in UK, only t-mobile still has this. (at least last summer) VoLTE works with A1.
Bob should work, it’s A1.
Well, not in Slovenia.
in austria yes nowadays
@filipk Oh, sorry. My bad.
Everything else seems to be working with VoLTE as intended except receiving RCS messages. Tampella 5.0.0.55 and Telia (Fi) as provider. If sender has rcs enabled from SMS-settings they’ll have notification about me being offline and I will not get any notification unless I move my SIM card to Android phone.
Jolla C2 at 5.0.0.55
All C2 SIMs are PAYG
All SIMs in SIM1 - no SIM in SIM2

For O2 UK, on a Jolla C2 running Sailfish 5.0.0.61:
- Voice calls work in/out
- SMS works in/out
- Data works
- MMS does not work
If O2 is like GiffGaff (which uses the O2 infrastructure) there is a very low size limit for MMS - 300KB?
I don’t think that’s the problem. If I select “Prefer 3G” in the mobile data settings, MMS works fine. If I select "Prefer 4G’, the exact same messages won’t send or download.
Country : HU
Provider : Yettel/Vodafone
Phone : Jolla C2
OS : 5.0.0.62
SMS works
MMS works
4G data transfer is stable
4G VoLTE remains registere
Sound in is very quiet, sound out is good. I can only make calls on speakerphone. Since it has 4G and 4G Volte, the incoming sound is quiet.
Hi!
I have a small bug to report.
With me it sometimes happens that I cannot stop a phone call. Well, when the other person hangs up the call stops but not on my phone. Trying to hang up on my side shows no effect. Killing the phone app with lighthouse leads to a new firering up of the phone app still with the “running” phone call. Only a reboot helps.
I use:
VoLTE (A1 Austria).
C2 on 5.0.0.62
Thanks, broncheolus.
The same for me on Telekom, Slovenia. Had this situation 2 times in last 2 weeks.
I don’t believe it has anything to do with the provider. That bug is old but luckily rare. At least for me.
IIRC no additional (other than lxc@multi-user and pulseaudio) service was in failed state the last time it happened on my C2.
