STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Bootup with Blau.de SIM-Card in SIM-Slot 1
  2. Go to SIM-Settings
  3. Turn on SIM-Slot2 in order to Turn off SIM-Slot 1
  4. Turn on SiM-Slot 1 and then Turn off SIM-Slot 2 because its emtpy/not needed
  5. After 2 Seconds it shows o2-carrier on SIM-Slot 1

EXPECTED RESULTS:

SIM-Card is recognized automatic after bootup as blau.de and not o2-carrier.

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Its not recognized until i perform the actions described before and then the carrier in setting is displayed wrong o2 instead of blau.de. On the Lockscreen-Bottom its displayed correctly as Blau.

Still there in 5.0.0.62. I did not set the PINCODE, maybe this is the fault for it?

In 5.0.0.62 it works right away on my C2.

I found a workaround that is working for me, after start i have to executing this command in the shell:

systemctl restart ofono

and then the SIM-Card is recognized and connection to provider is established.

I marked it as temporary solution (fix) but Jolla should adress this issue, because it is still present for me in 5.0.0.62 and i’m surely not the only one with this problem

For me this is also still happening in 5.0.0.67.

For me too still happening in 5.0.0.67

Still present in 5.0.0.78. It is working with other carriers (Telekom D1), so the hardware of this Jolla C2 should be working. This Blau SIM card does work/was recognized immediately after boot on Sailfish OS 4.6 and older with other hardware before (XZ2 Compact)! Did Jolla change/update something in the default carrier definitions? Or is this caused by some ofono updates in the meantime?
