In my case it needs 5 Minutes for the first time after my O2-SIM-Card was recognized, after that no delays, even after reboot.
Maybe try Flightmode turn on and/or remove card and reinsert and/or reboot.
Flightmode and timeouts are unhelpful. Since I have a reliable and relatively simple workaround I’ll wait for a next release as there are more serious issues to solve.
I cannot even see any SIM card, be it placed in slot 1 or 2. Is there no way to force start the/a SIM related service ? If there is such a thing
I think I get to see something similar. All of sudden, after a 3rd reboot, the SIM is recognised and works again. Phone calls function in 3G mode, both calling and receiving. SMSes aren’t though.
Or disable and reenable the SIM. I must do it on my SIM after every reboot.
Solved with 5.0.0.62!
Sadly not for me, maybe its dependent on the used carrier?
I have to perform this command after boot to get it working:
systemctl restart ofono
