[C2] Restore Backup from XA2Plus on C2

Hi,

i would to restore my backup from my old device XA2 Plus to the C2 using dropbox.
I tried this by first creating a backup on my C2 to get the directory on dropbox. Then i moved
my XA2 Backup to the C2 backup directory and tried to restore it. The result was:

  • restoring accounts failed accounts are there, but all password are missing, so the accounts are not yet usable.
  • Calendar contained some entries (not check if all), but looks ok on first sight.
  • SMS Messages look ok.
  • Browser Bookmarks also look ok

Restoration failed with error: “Error: cannot load Notes”

Contacts, Notes and all the custom stuff via MyBackup is missing.

How can i check why notes restoration failed? How to fix that (do i have to modify the backup zip somehow?) Removing notes - so the restoration process continues?

Is this perhaps the classic nemo/defaultuser having leaked into the backup?
Then you can temporarily symlink one to the other.
Search for more info - other threads exist.

The export directory looks ok to me - no user names or whatsoever - maybe an SQL statement is failing

The passwords are intentionally excluded from backups, so this is expected behaviour.
