C2 permanently locked

Good Day Sailfish Community.

My C2 phone is permanently locked. It says that there were too many attempts.
I rebooted many times. The code on the black screen works well but for the screen to open, it says what I wrote above. What can I do?

PS: I can receive phone calls.

Please advise.

Hi, Eve.
Did you enable ssh? That way you can copy data.

As a final option you can reflash it which erase all phone data.

Hi filip.k,
Nothing important on the phone itself, everything on the sdxc.
Never flashed the C2. Any detailed instructions on how to do it on an arch-based distro?

Info is a bit scattered for my taste. But you can find it on this forum or documentation website.

Thank you for the help.
I opened a ticket with the Jolla.

Link is private so we can’t see it. Important is that C2 is solved.

Good Day SailfishOS Community,

Just want to give you a follow-up in this issue.

I was successfully flashed my C2 phone. The process is easy and everything went as it was described. I used an arch-based distro for this process. If you are on Arch or and Arch-based distro and do not have ‘fastboot‘, which is part of the ‘Android Platform Tools’ known as ‘android-tools‘, just install the ‘android-tools’ in Terminal with this command:

sudo pacman -S android-tools

The entire flashing process will run smoothly then.

Thank you again to jovirkku for a good description.
