C2 factory reset issue

Hi all. I bought the new phone, so now I want to give away my C2 to a friend, but I’m unable to factory reset it.

I’m able to start the procedure from settings, but when the phone reboots, I get this error message:

“Factory image not found or invalid.
Rebooting back to current system.“

Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it or get around it? Maybe I can replace the factory image on the device?

I had sama problem with my previous Jolla C2. And I askel help from Jolla Zendesk.

Hello,

You are right in that there is no reset on the C2. However, you can reset everything by reinstalling the Sailfish OS.
