The CSD-test gyroscope fails on new ver.5.0.0.61 OS too (phone is C2). Is it hardware issue or software. Can it be corrected somehow?
Home screen (et al.) rotation didn’t work on first boot after updating to 5.0.0.62, but started working after running CSD tool.
However, now also the Accelerometer test fails consistently in CSD - previously, only the Gyroscope test failed.
Edit: Rebooted, and now Accel test passes consistently. What’s going on? (Gyro still fails.)

In my case, the rotation (homescreen, apps) is not working after every reboot. To get it working I have to start the gyro test, which fails with out of range values as others showed.

Is there a way to restart the Accelerometer(Service) with shell?
So you can put it in a autostart-script and wil be executed after a reboot, so no need to start csd-test for it until Jolla fixed it.
In my quick research i didn’t find a service which carries this.

systemctl restart sensorfwd.service
But it will need admin confirmation.

I can confirm this fixed it on Jolla C2 (until next reboot of course), thank you!
Note that this bug report is about the CSD test, which basically sais it does not meet the specified treshold for the test.
The issue with rotation not working after a fresh boot (sensorfwd failure) is reported here .
