Bluettoth connectivity from android app

OS VERSION: 4.5.0.19
HARDWARE: Xperia 10 iii
UI LANGUAGE: English (UK)

DESCRIPTION:

Android apps cannot pair to bluetooth. It hangs saying “Enable Bluetooth”, even though bluetooth is enabled and all permissions are.
In the Apps->System menu, when I search for devices it find the item it is trying to pair with, no problem

PRECONDITIONS:

Bluetooth enabled on system settings. Sailfish can see the device (on Search for Devices)
Android app installed

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Initial setup within the app. Trying to pair with bluetooth device

EXPECTED RESULT:

The device should be paired

ACTUAL RESULT:

Android app says “Enable bluetooth”. When I press to enable, nothing happens and the application hangs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Android Support does not support Bluetooth except Audio.

You must pair devices on the SFOS side of things, and Android apps requiring anything but audio do not work.
