Bluetooth Keyboard does not work in Android Apps

OS VERSION: 5.0.0.67
HARDWARE: Xperia 10 II

DESCRIPTION:

Paired bluetooth keyboard is recognized in Android Apps, the virtual keyboard is not activated when i tap on an input field. But the characters typed do not appear in the edit field. Usage in Sailfish OS apps works as expected.

PRECONDITIONS:

Paired bluetooth keyboard.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Turn on Bluetooth
  2. Open Sailfish app, for example notes app, keyboard works, text input as expected
  3. Switch to Android app, tap on edit field, no virtual keyboard is shown, typing does not give characters in the edit field.

EXPECTED RESULT:

Characters appear in the edit field of the Android app

ACTUAL RESULT:

Noc characters appear, no virtual keyboard

I have the same issue on Sony Xperia 10 III. According to this post the problem was fixed in 5.0.0.55. However, it has returned in 5.0.0.67
