I use apkpure these days.
That seems to be the solution for downloading goverment apps,
because we all know that democratic government naturally gravitate towards
relying on large corporations and for most of us, foreign corporations.

Sorry, that is not a solution for me. None of my Swedish banking apps is available at apkpure, and it is definitely not a solution to this topic, whoever did tag your post as such.
I did. I asked the question. My Dutch banking apps are available at apkpure.
Maybe the title of the thread was malformed.
People looking for a solution to “Aurora store stopped searching” will not find it here if marked as solved now.
Changing the title to “How to get an Android app?” would fit the solution post.
But this would lead discussions/workarounds about Aurora to be neglected.
So, the solution is to mark no solution !
I have now noted three times that Aurora still automatically offers me updates to my few apps, despite the anononymous account.
Just wanted to inform you about this. However, regular search will not work.
I’ll undo the solution then ric9k and mark both our solutions as a solution.
Your solution works right?
This post is to get Aurora store working back again:
And this link goes to APKPure instead, because the regular search on Aurora Store seems to be lost for good and APKPure seems to have all the banking and government apps needed for at least the Netherlands, but unfortunately not Sweden if I understand correctly.
Download it, allow untrusted software, install via file browser, disallow untrusted software again:
I don’t want to be that guy, but still no solution to the topic. Rather a work around for our Netherlands friends (and maybe others).
Ah, is there ever be a solution on the horizon then?
Not that I can see, but who knows. Aurora developers might come up with something.
Alas no solution is ideal yet.
Let’s wait and see :–)
Don’t know about you guys, but to me it looks like searching with anonymous account is working again (Aurora Store 4.3.5.53).
I searched for TP-Link Tether and did get an accurate result list.
Well, there was an insignificant error message…
‘Ooops… looks like this account is speed limited’
or something like that.
Same for me, so it’s actually working, at last
for now it works, can confirm too
