Macs on Apple Silicon are now on their fifth generation, and they’ve become one of, if not the most popular choice for developer machines, and yet there is absolutely zero support for using Sailfish SDK on them and not a single word on whether that support is planned at all. Could someone from the Sailfish team shed some light on this? I understand if there’s no capacity for it, even if I personally believe it would be really beneficial for the app ecosystem to prioritize this, but in that case would it be possible for someone from the community to implement this support?
I’m waiting for my Jolla Phone to arrive and it would be incredible if I could dabble into app development for Sailfish on my MBP
