Android software unexpected "backgrounding"?

Just within a couple of SFOS versions (currently 5.0.0.67), it seems that when started, Android software will often “drop into the background” (go into iconised mode), and you have to click it once to bring it back to the foreground. Sometimes it also seems incorrect Android software gets started up, a repeat of what you last ran instead of what you just clicked.

Also, occasionally a spurious microG Services popup repeatedly keeps coming up (specially with the geocaching software c:geo, which really doesn’t use or need Google services, but I need it for other things, like Mobilepay), and this is quite inconvenient.

Anyone else see this kind of things, how would one debug strange behavior like this?

I have the same issue here.

I can confirm this. But happens rarely for me.

I can confirm this and sometimea it is getting very annoying. Not using microg. Sometimes the screen gets full of black screens of android apps and always bot the last clicked but the previously oppened app pops up.

I can consistently reproduce it with two apps:

  • Deezer: switching between “tabs” (Home, Search, etc).
I had some cases where Deezer minimised to nothing (no Deezer desktop icon at all) whilst kept running (playing sound). I have yet to find a pattern to reproduce.
  • SportEasy: when changing teams.
