Hash(#) for sure, not asterisk. Thank you!
I had a thought today. Could it be that without encryption enabled sound disappears less often, or maybe never due to less load?
I never had encryption enabled and this bug occurs every time i use gps and forgot to reboot.
I see. Good that i didn’t reflash and try that out
I had till feb 2024 a 10 iii device with Android 11 and had some sound related issues but was kind of under control by stopping android and restarting the audio subsystem.
Now i have a new 10 iii device which came with Android 13 and after reading the relevant forum thread i decided to flash it without downgrading. Battery life seems better, but might be subjective so far. Mobile data seems to lose connectivity more often than with old device for both native and android. But the most annoying thing is the microphone/sound input.
During calls, the other side does not hear me at all. Sometime just barely hears me and I need to speak quite loud which i dislike. Bumping up the mic volume to 300-400% does not help.
Wired headset works awsome. Well, as expected
As i did not have such serious sound issues with the previous device i was wondering if this could be related to not using the recommended Android 11 AOSP before flashing.
Will the sound problems reduce with Android 11?
Yes, I’m experiencing this on X10III, but seemingly only when calling my father’s Nokia 2660 Flip-phone (4G modern version). I haven’t gotten any other complaints (10s and 100s of calls), and I can’t think of a single reason why this Flip-phone would experience such
