“Just use bluetooth” in the new phone, rather behoves them to finally update pulseaudio (and bluez?), so that something better than the very oldest and worst quality codec (SBC) is supported.
The AptX LL codec addresses this, as does the LE Audio LC3 codec. Hypothetically. I’m not sure what the use case in a phone (especially SFOS) is. Perhaps gaming?
