Do you use a Jolla Sailfish OS phone as your primary phone? And share your home screen. Want to see what kind of apps you have and so on.
Since 11 years now!
Apps depend on your personal needs…
Containers/Displaytime/PulseTunnel/Kamkast/Waydroid…
I started with the original Jolla phone, had a brief interlude when 3G was shutdown, then found the Sony Xperia line of phones and have been a daily user ever since!
Xperia 10 III as my primary and only phone, except at work I have to use an Android phone.
As primary and secondary. Every single mobile device in my house is running sfos with exception of one android device that i just need for two apps for operator apps.
beside that, phones, tablets, everything runs sfos, and none but jolla phone 1 have any android support, so I’m not coping, it’s pure sfos
edit: ah yes pictures
edit2: Big ups to anyone else who will have punk or sexy on their apps grid
edit3: I forgot to add that i’ve been maining and porting sfos since 2015
edit4: last edit I swear, phones are edge 30 neo, x2, pipa
Sailfish OS has been my only mobile OS since October 2021. I started my journey with a Sony XA2, then switched to a smaller Sony Xperia X Compact, tried a community port on a Sony XZ2 Compact, and finally landed on a Jolla C2 for the last 1.5 years. I’m now patiently waiting for the Jolla Phone 2026.
I mostly use native Sailfish OS apps wherever possible for the sake of the great and consistent UI experience. I use Android apps only in emergencies and try to avoid them.
I’m planning to pick up the gagbook after @leszek ![]()
I used Nokia N900 and then N9 so I had easier time when the OG Jolla Phone arrived and it was my main device for years, then I moved to the SailfishX thing with Xperia X, 10 (mk I & II) and around Xperia mk III i started to use android again and Xperia 10 V was my main.
Now that Jolla Phone 2026 is coming I recently moved back to my old Xperia 10 II as my main to test things out.
I use a sailfished 10 II as main phone since a few months now and like it. Also have a 10 III where I failed to install SFOS and hence that is still on Android. But it is not used as a phone, has no SIM card…
I also have an HMD global Nokia branded banana-phone running firefox OS that I love due to its nice yellow colour, long lasting battery and small form factor. But that is really phone and fm radio usage only.
My SFOS phone is my only phone.
SFOS is what i have used basically exclusively since it launched. N9 before that.
I’m not sure my hours of Android use (pre-flash Xperias, work phone, crappy tablet i once had) would amount to much above 24h - possibly twice that with counting plain phone calls on the work phone back when that was a thing. iOS use is basically zero.

C2 (with two sim cards and sd-card) is my primary one and Xperia 10III my secondary (work phone with one sim and sd-card). I thought of replacing the 10III with the new Jolla phone. Here is my C2 app screen:
Xperia 10 III as primary phone, with only a Lumia 950 (flashed with Android) to use as a monitor for my drone remote.
I’m using more non-native apps than I would like to, for example because my university enforces a whitelist for Microsoft 365 which forbids me from using Jolla Mail with the ActiveSync plugin (that I paid for) and they “don’t do individual enablements”.
And the EU PSD2, which made it impossible for someone to write their own banking app (such as Zaster ) to use with the operating system of their choice.

I have used a Sony Xperia 10 III with SailfishOS as my primary phone for 4 years now. I don’t even have another phone.
Hidden in the folder “Browser” I have Angelfish and Fennec F-Droid (Android). In the Folder “Stores”, I have the Jolla Store, Chum GUI, Storeman, Droidify (Android) and Aurora Store (Android). In the folder “Maps” I have OSMScout and Here WeGo (Android). Although I want to re-activate PureMaps with my HERE key but haven’t found the time yet. In the folder “Bank” I have my apps needed for banking and in the folder “Sicherheit”, I have ownKeepass, FoilAuth and PrivacyIDEA (Android), but the last one I never use, I just have it because it is the “supported” solution and when something goes wrong i can claim support
I had an N9, then an OG Jolla. Then for a while work was buying iPhones and expected us to carry them as our main phone and correspondingly didn’t care that we used it as our personal phone.
I got a SFOS pre-installed 10ii as a hobby phone, but it’s been my daily driver since once-benevolent work now wants us only to use their iPhones for work since January. I’m in Sweden, and my banking and the other hard stuff works on SFOS.
I’ll be in Helsinki to pick up my J2. It’s hard using a 10ii because of its tiny memory, so J2 is going to be a cool drink of water. I worry, though, since it’s going to ship with SFOS 5.2. As much as I anticipate it’s going to be awesome, I worry about AAS regression for my secure banking apps.
Yes, I use a C2 as my primary phone. I like it, but I’m also looking forward to the new phone.
N900 until 2022, then many XA2 with Sailfish.
