Xplora watch cannot be added

Hi,

I got a Jolla C2 phone. Tried to add my kid’s Xplora watch into the app and during the process it doesn’t connect with the Bluetooth. Any hint or perhaps advice from some Jolla user with kids using similar devices?

Have you downloaded the Appsupport bluetooth for android? For me i notice bluetooth has lots of issues on Jolla 2026

Terve Mikko! indeed, after installing Appsupport Bluetooth it was possible to add the watch into the application, still showed some error message but it moved forward with the installation as expected. Funny enough, after asking one LLM, I got a nice trick that could work for other similar apps, basically using a basic old Android phone, install the app and then add the device there. Later, logging into the app installed on Jolla should show the device, as these are handled by the app backend. In some cases, this trick could work.
