Xperia XA2 Plus Browser problems, with sites SOLVED

OS VERSION: 4.5.0.18
HARDWARE: XA2 Plus Dual sim
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: Yes, over 4.4.0

DESCRIPTION:

Can’t log in (or sign up) on email service site https://gmx.com
The email icon/link on right upper corner doesn’t respond to tapping, problem also with “sign up” opens up a blank page,
News headline on the page should be scrolling automatically, not working, on the news headline should show number/total of the news page showing, instead showing three dots.
Cookie selection page should show up but it doesn’t.

Site has no problem with Android Firefox.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. go to https://gmx.com
  2. tap email icon/link on the right upper corner

EXPECTED RESULT:

Log in page should open.

ACTUAL RESULT:

No log in page opens.

MODIFICATIONS:

No custom changes or patches.

It sounds specific to XA2. I tested on my X10 III and it worked as expected. I’ll try later on a XA2.

Did you changed the cookies policy’s default settings? Some websites won’t work if cookies are blocked.

Yes I had cookies blocked, changing that to allow solved the problem. A thousand thanks!
This “Bug Report” is resolved and can therefore be deleted.
