[Xperia X10 II] Advanced Camera, 3 lenses, how to focus

First of all, I love Advanced Camera  thanks @piggz & contributors!

I can switch between the three forward facing lenses.

It is quite clear what that does, no confusion there: 3 trees: wide angle, 2 trees: medium angle, 1 tree: narrow angle.

However, I’m finding it hard to figure out what range each lense is able to focus. Do we know anything about that? Could one of those be considered a macro lense? The 1tree lense seems impossible to focus on anything less than 1m away.

i think that 1tree lens (0.6) in default camera app is full focus lens 1m+ the two trees (1.0) and three trees (2.0) are able to focus from macro to infinity

It entirely depends on the phone

well in the topic is xperia 10ii, so we have xperia 10ii and talking about xperia 10ii

One idea is to add a small char to each Icon to indicate how that lens work:

A(F) for Autofocus
F(F) for Fixedfocus

Thanks!

I suppose full focus == fixed focus.

And I wrongly assumed that one tree == good for close-ups, when the opposite is true.

So if it’s either 2 or 3 trees for macro, have you noticed any differences there? technically, I’m interested in how close I can get (in sunny conditions it can be hard to assess when the preview is in focus and when not).
