[Xperia 10 III][AAS] : Connect/Disconnect account for Instant Messaging apps

REPRODUCIBILITY: Instant Messaging app launched or in background
OS VERSION: 5.0.0.72
HARDWARE: Xperia 10 III and II
UI LANGUAGE: French
REGRESSION: Don’t know

DESCRIPTION:

The phone waked up periodically with 4G/5G connection enable with AAS and IM app launch and in background

PRECONDITIONS:

AAS Launch, Conversations app with an account connected and allow not apply restriction battery to have notification after login.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Enable AAS

  2. Conversation app

  3. Login with an account

  4. Let Conversation app in background

EXPECTED RESULT:

I don’t know what is the root cause of this disonnected/connected account and wake-up the phone periodically. So i can’t say anymore.
IMPORTANT : With Wifi connection, it not appear. Only with 4G/5G connectivity.

ACTUAL RESULT:

Not have disconnected/connected account from the notification app and more stability of sharing connection with AAS ! ? If it’s the right root cause.

MODIFICATIONS:

Patch for more stability of the 4G/5G network interface of Sony Xperia 10 III or II

I’m using conversations for years on different devices abd SailfishOS versions. Never had any connection issues. Maybe you have a weak signal?

yes, it’s insufficient power signal.
