OS VERSION: 4.5.0.24
HARDWARE: Xperia 10 II (Dual Sim)
UI LANGUAGE: German

DESCRIPTION:

The audio/sound on the device sounds “robotic”/“with hall”/“overlapped”.

PRECONDITIONS:

Only Sailfish needed

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. install Sailfish OS

EXPECTED RESULT:

The Audio/Sound should sound ok

ACTUAL RESULT:

The audio/sound on the device sounds “robotic”/“with hall”/“overlapped”. Or like it is pausing/continuing veeery fast.

MODIFICATIONS:

plain sailfish os
freshly installed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Installed Sailfish os from Android 10 as well as Android 11.
  • In Android the audio/sound is ok, like expected.

How did you record this?
It sounds normal to me, like recording TV over the air.

I have been using a second device to record it. It is really hard to record I guess.

Does someone with XPeria 10 ii have the same issue?

Is the 4.5.0.24 first SFOS version you have flashed/used? Just trying to figure out that have you used previous versions and did you have the same audio issue with those previous SFOS versions or is this something which started to happen when you updated to 4.5.0.24.

yes, this is the first version i have been using on the device. Can I install older versions somehow?
