REPRODUCIBILITY: 100 %
OS VERSION: 4.4.0.68
HARDWARE: Sony Xperia 10 II
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: Unknown (new secondhand device)
DESCRIPTION:
When I check which cores are running (e.g. with htop
), it always shows all 8 cores are on. This is despite the fact that the load average is usually quite low (around 3), so it definitely doesn’t need this horsepower. My old XA2 Plus didn’t do this, and also my wife’s 10 does not.
I have reflashed SFOS to make sure it’s not something I installed.
PRECONDITIONS:
An Xperia 10 II with SFOS running
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Start
htop
in the terminal (or over ssh) - locate the charger
- plug it in before the battery is empty!
EXPECTED RESULT:
The number of running cores should vary depending on the load
ACTUAL RESULT:
All cores are always on
MODIFICATIONS:
None. Stock SFOS, developer mode on and htop installed
