X10iii - Camera filters dont work

REGRESSION: Camera filters dont work

DESCRIPTION:

Open Camera choose a filter and … nothing change

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open Camera App
  2. Select filter in option
  3. Choose greyscale or other filter

EXPECTED RESULT:

Filter apply

ACTUAL RESULT:

Not filter apply

I can reproduce it on the Sony XZ2 Compact Community-Port, Version 4.4.0.72 for both Cameras (Front and Main).

It was known that they don’t work on the tama port. However x10iii is an official device.

I can confirm this on 10 III with 4.4.0.72 (Vanha Rauma). With default camera application and Advanced Camera.

Thanks for the report @kaulian. As it happens we had a bug recorded about this internally, so I’ve associated yours with it and tagged it here as “tracked”.

The issue appears to be with the underlying AOSP 11 camera drivers; we’ve raised the issue upstream:

But that is connected to underlying android installed or the software binaries you put on sfos installation folder?
