Wrong orientation lock (gemini pda)

DESCRIPTION: when you set orientation to landscape, it is inverted.

PRECONDITIONS: none

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. choose landscape orientation instead dynamic in settings.

EXPECTED RESULT:

Orientation to be choosen should be landscape inverted, but only landscape is available.

ACTUAL RESULT:

When you choose landscape, display is upside down.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

I know all the patches, i only want to choose landscape inverted in sailfish settings, but there are only entries for portrait and landscape.

I get this as well, landscape is “upside down” and needs to be rotated 180 degrees

Dynamic rotation is sort of okay, but it is very sensitive, and sometimes rotates 90 or even 180 by accident.

I’m having the same issue. Is there a fix for this? Is there a setting that can be changed in a file?

hi @tac , I dont know if I did it wrong previously, or if anything has changed, but I can fix the rotation now in correct landscape mode on gemini pda.

use the pull down menu from the top to go to free rotation mode, hold the device in desired landscape configuration, use the fix rotation toggle (maybe more than once) in the pull down menu, and it fixes in current orientation.

(edit: in the screen settings, you should keep rotation as dynamic)
