Would it be possible to create a native Threema app for Sailfishos?

I use Threema very often and as there is threema Libre, wouldn’t it be possible to create a native threema app? Also how profitable is it for a company like threema to do their own sailfish app? It seems like most sailfish apps are maintained by one person, so it shouldnt be too expensive for a company to do so.

As Threema is open source, I think it would be possible. Only someone needs to do it.

SailfishOS has just a too narrow user base to be interesting for a company.

Hm. I would do it, but I don’t know how to code. Maybe in 3 Years when i finish studying computer science.

I bought a Threema Libre for a Volka phone and husband bought the same for his e/os phone. The rest of the family has iphones and one Android. We had issues, our Libre’s seemed not to match well with the others.

For me threema libre via f-droid repository runs quite well in App Support. A native Threema client would be much nicer of course

But the license is the same anyway, you can still replace your libre client with the normal threema via aurora store or download it from their homepage

What exactly went wrong?
