Fix has been made last night on half a bottle of wine (ha), but the code is good, and we’ll ship something on OR hopefully by noon

A white Riesling from Charles Wantz, Alsace. Been loving those wines recently; fetched them last summer with a friend. I usually drink reds (been loving a variety of Puglia bottles last year), but depending on the company, I switch around

Very minor API change in the authentication. Before, the websocket was started on /v1/websocket?login={username}&password={password}, but they changed it to a standard Authorization header half a year ago. Seems like they started to enforce that and removed the old code last night, and we hadn’t spotted it. They didn’t push the upstream server code for it yet though.

Looks like there are more API changes coming up, which we might want to stay ahead of.

Thank you very much!

I have a question concerning the automatic Speech to text feature for voice messages. From the change log I read, that the language configured in Speech Note under “auto detected” is to be used. In my installation however all languages I can choose from under “auto detected” seem to be english variants of Whispercpp, and no other languages are available. Is this correct or is something with my setup wrong/outdated?

That’s interesting. If I click “Auto detected / auto”, I get to choose between WhisperCpp Small, WhisperCpp Tiny, and WhisperCpp Base. I’m on SpeechNote 4.7 (but maybe I need to restart the daemon; I just updated). Maybe @mkiol can help here?

I think that’s what I get as well, but isn’t that all only english? Otherwise I don’t understand how to configure the language

Ah no, those are multi-language. You tap on the auto group, and install one of the automatic models. After that, you should be able to check the speech note setting in the Whisperfish settings.

OpenRepos shows an update…but still beta32, if it is supposed to be beta33…

Hello on my xperia Xa2 wishperfis is disconnected. I did the update but nothing to do. On my xperia 10III I am connected and it works. I uninstalled Wp. I unsubscribed it from my primary signal I deleted the directory ./local/share/be/rubos. I reinstalled Wp. I re-registered it in secondary since signal no error but my Wp is still disconnected and when I try to recognize it it does nothing

Strange! Have you tried refreshing the OR caches? It shows up correctly for me.

Could you try capturing some logs for us to debug? Otherwise we’re completely in the dark.

Ok I understood. When I said signal in primary it was not really signal but Molly I do not use signal but molly. On all other phones sailfishos C2 xperia 10 III and 10 V. I installed the real signal and it works. The problem occurred only on the xperia Xa2

Do you mean Storeman?
I had the same problem. After executing

devel-su -p
pkcon refresh

in the console it showed the correct update version in Storeman.
