I think you mean this issue and this fix. It only stops the service in the background, not the “individual” process. I’m not sure if we should issue killall harbour-whisperfish
too, that sounds too big of a sledgehammer here…
I have been able to make Whisperfish <beta.10 close its UI, but still remain running, by closing it after device lock period while the device is in charger and the screen not turning off in charger. I think I’ll make an issue about it to see if it’s something we could grab and fix - but that’s quite low priority.
