Hi all, I have noticed a weird issue on my 10III. When I take pictures via Whatsapp the result is not great, the pictures are too bright and lack contrast. Honestly, I don’t know if it’s always been like this, because I rarely take pictures using Whatsapp.
I did a few experiments with Open Camera and my understanding is that there’s something wrong when using the Camera2 API. In fact with Open Camera I can switch between Original and Camera2 and the latter has the same issue that I also experience in Whatsapp (probably using Camera2 as well).
Do you also experience the same or it’s just me?

I can confirm that using Camera2 API on Asus Zenfone 8 also requires a smaller value for exposure than the default. It is interesting that Open Camera and Whatsap fall for this too - as I don’t have any. I have struggled to maintain exposure between shots because of this…
(Here’s camera2 running on droidmedia build - this is what I keep as default exposure all round)
This problem is same with some more android apps like messenger for example
Any idea on how to fix/workaround it? I remember that some people here in the forum flashed SFOS on Android 13… It would be interesting to know if they also have the same issue
