DESCRIPTION:
When trying to save a contact from Whatsapp, it does not complete
PRECONDITIONS:
Whatsapp installed (version 2.23.20.75)
A nr in your whatsapp contacts which you do not have as a contact in your contacts list
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Start whatsapp
- Select the discussion with the number you want to export
- Select the number from the top
- Select “Save”
- from the “New contact” window which pops-up inside whatsapp, select “Save”
EXPECTED RESULT:
The contact is saved in my Jolla contacts list’
ACTUAL RESULT:
An error appears (“Contact cannot be saved”)
MODIFICATIONS:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Checked permissions, all should be ok (contacts access is allowed);
it used to work with previous whatsapp versions.
Interestingly, saving via the “save as” from a group member list, works in opening up the contacts app.
