Wero is an excellent alternative to visa, mastercard and paypal. Jolla must contact Wero to obtain/develop an official SFOS version.
Jolla probably don’t have resources to develop that kind of things. I think it would be more efficient if enough people contact Wero so that they would make native client. Banking/paying apps are one of those that probably will stay in the hands of companies
I doubt they will create an app for a niche platform they’re unfamiliar with without a partner, though. I wish all these services just had a functional API.

Probably not immediately, but hopefully eventually. Open APIs would be great but I think we are very far with that one also. I think much more likely that they would make native app than open their APIs. As they also market themselves as European option, they could support it in another European option
In Germany Wero is deeply embedded in the apps of the Banks - no way to deploy something generic for Jolla (or any other developer) there, IMHO.

The same in The Netherlands. iDeal/Wero is provided via banking apps. Assuming just using android version of the banking apps

Two days ago Wero launched officially here in Luxembourg, and I’ve downloaded the dedicated app from the EPI, as our banks rely on that instead of integrating it within their own application.
That being said, my enthusiasm did not hold on for long: It doesn’t start/it closes immediately … making me feel like they’re blocking non-standard android environments.
Has anyone been able to get it up and running?

But it shows that I did not have the need for that App at all.
It just delegates me to use my own banking app.
Did nit try at all on SFOS.
In France with my bank (LCL) I just log in my bank account from the sailfish browser and from there I can perform wero tasks.

I just use my banks banking app through AAS and use wero in there. Works great (as far as i can tell. There is nothing where i can pay with wero though)
