Hi just wondering will I receive the phone earlier or will I still have to wait end of August?
Would be great to know what the position is with regard to the delivery , early delivery or back to August sometime. Had a day one invite but had relinquish it because could not make it.
I assume that you then will get your phone with your initial batch timeline. Not a Jolla employee, but would be most logical to me.

Yeah possible , but would be nice to know either way , can’t be the only one with this question there seemed quite a number that could not attend , but yes logic would dictate , back in line.
Oh well will have to consult the crystal ball, maybe that can clear the day one fog and provide a little clarity.

Just from a logical perspective: They offered the Day 1 Tickets first to the initial early supporters, then to the next batch, the next, and so on.
You were originally from batch 3, what means: They offered the ticket to a lot of people before you. Not everyone of those people can be moved to batch 1. If they would be able to do that, they would not have needed the batch-system in the first place.
Sort-of the same if you really booked your ticket, and then cancelled it. As far as I understood them, all places were filled up, and there even was a waiting list. They most probably gave the “reserved” phone to the next guy that got the ticket, and you’ll get yours once batch 3 has been manufactured.
I wouldn’t hold my breath about receiving it “early”.
Cheers for the panoramic view , maybe you should be working for Jolla after care( service centre?) when they get one , the fog has lifted a little. All good ,I hope , won’t be holding my breath any time soon.
