Virtual Keyboard not displaying in Sailfish Notes app

On my Xperia X and in the Sailfish Notes app, the virtual keyboard never appears and thus I’m unable to add any more Notes.

All other apps work with the keyboard, it’s only the Notes app that doesn’t.

The phone is running the latest version of the OS, namely 4.1.0.24.

Anybody any ideas on how to fix this?

Fixed. I deleted the app, re-installed it and rebooted. The keyboard then appeared.
