Recently I posted this, waiting for an answer: chatting via Threema Libre works on Xperia 10III. During a voice call I can see the others but the others can’t see me. I have given permission in Android settings, yet Sailfish gives no access to camera. Do you think this will be put right in Jolla2 ?
To be honest I don’t have Threema and have zero knowledge what might be the problem with it. Your best bet would be to check if that is known issue (from this forum) and if it is device specific. If it would work with C2 for example changes are quite good. They have also announced that they are heavily working with camera 2 api. That could bring some improvements. But with this specific case, I don’t know, my guess is as good as yours. Sorry…
No one jumped in. Although it’s a safe chat service, Threema never becamevery popular. Thanks for your answer.
That’s beyond privacy - it’s stalking!
Don’t ever call me! ![]()
Actually of the more data protective oriented once it maybe is next to signal the most comon one in DACH region. It is pretty comon and used by round about 12+ million people (in 2024, no newer numbers I could find, but likely the number is still rising):

Joke. During a video call that is no real video call with Sailfish. Do you have a solution?
