For the record, this is the exact reason why removing the 3.5mm port is such a terrible idea. Creating problems where none previously existed.
However, I agree with the sentiment that having a list of “tested, working” adapters is insane. USB audio class devices are generic and linux has a generic driver. It’s like having a list of “tested, working” USB keyboards. But since we’re doing the silly thing, add the Qudelix 5K to the list of working devices why not…
