Update interflicts with YMusic

REPRODUCIBILITY: unknown
OS VERSION: Update to 4.5.0.18
HARDWARE: Sony Xperia X 10 III
UI LANGUAGE: english US
REGRESSION: none

DESCRIPTION:

I updated the OS without any major problem. However, after that, in the android app YMusic all downloaded tracks are doubled, ie. appearing twice in the app storage.

PRECONDITIONS:

YMusic has to be installed with some tracks downloaded before the update.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Make sure, your device has an older OS version
  2. Install YMusic from Aptoide and download some tracks from Youtube
  3. Update your device to 4.5.0.18
  4. Check in the app the downloaded tracks in the app storage

EXPECTED RESULT:

Nothing should have changed, all tracks should be there as before.

ACTUAL RESULT:

All tracks that have been downloaded, now appear twice in the app storage overview. When trying to delete the doubles, they still reappear after a restart.
And many tracks now have the wrong image, all of them the same.

MODIFICATIONS:

None except tiny fixes for OS problems, all posted in this forum

There are various YMusic on Aurora Store. Could you provide a link to the app? It sounds a bug with the media tracker. If Utilities is installed (available on Jolla Store), you can reset the media tracker.

Is resetting the media tracker done from the sailfish utilities app? Will doing that affect any other data?
