Are you able to use Citrix with SFOS in any way? Using a hardware keyboard (either Bluetooth or USB) does not work because neither capital letters nor special characters can be typed with a hardware keyboard in the Android support environment (while hardware keyboards work flawless in the SFOS environment).
I suspect that the missing virtual keyboard within Citrix virtual desktop (as opposed to locking into Citrix) is somehow related to Citrix itself. However, in the “old” Android support environment (SFOS 2) I was using the virtual keyboard with the Citrix virtual desktop.
At the moment, Citrix cannot be seriously used with SFOS - that’s a pitty.
Thanks for all the detailed reports and for double checking it’s still an issue in the latest release. I’ve created an internal but report and tagged it as “tracked”.
It is graet that this issue is tracked - highly appreciated!
Just for you info: I now have the same problem with citrix on the Astro Slide in a pure Android environment. I do not want to stop Jolla’s efforts in this respect because this issue bothers me a lot - but the problem apparently lies on Citrix’s side, not SFOS.
It would be great, however, if at least a USB HW keyboard would properly work with Citrix in SFOS’ Android Support
