Maybe Harbour and Chum are also different?
On Jolla Phone (Chum) everything is english except “wird geladen” on startup, on 10 III (Harbour version as far as I remember) at lest also “hat favorisiert/hat geteilt” is german.

No, it looks like I disabled the translations! I was working on several branches at once and more than one phone, so probably typing faster than I was thinking. The fix is pushed to harbour and coming to chum.

Chum has an update from today. If this already should contain the solution for the translation bug then it’s not working. No change even after phone restart.
No, chum testing has the latest, 1.4.2-2, chum proper still has 1.4.2-1
EDIT: Ok, I’m a bit ridiculous, but I found I already had a submission with the correct external url search resolution, so I’ve implemented THAT.
Which means that version 1.4.3 is coming very fast on the heals of 1.4.2-2 and will provide proper support for the Mastodon Account integration urls.

I’ve implemented this and it works well, though there can be delays when tooter is cold loading. If only I could get DBUS working with the main desktop. Works great with the open-url desktop and a dbus-1 service file.

I thought I got crazy and did some stupid twitches on the keyboard. But today my brain added the missing pieces when the spaces were left but the word gone. When I type a new toot, or editing an existing one, and then put a new/missing word in a bit up from the end of the toot, my suspicion is inbetween two hastags, when pushing the toot button I can see the word. But the word is removed looking up the the toot.
Could someone confirm they seen this on a jp2026 with one of the Tooter 1.4 versions or please be so kind to give it a quick try reproducing this? I will try on other devices when back home.
Ok, my tests with variations on this theme don’t seem to show the behaviour, but it’s a Volla22 with OS 5.0 so who knows.

Thanks for testing 5.0 on Volla. I will try C2 at same SFOS v5.2.0.17 next.

As I also wrote in toot, this is definitely JP2026-specific for me. C2 with most factors same does not show this behaviour but happily inserts the same string.

Backtracking and minimizing, removing never active and unused FUTO solved the insertion issue. My comrades will continue to hate my double-spacing but my toots will be somewhat intelligble again. Sorry for the fuzz, and thanks for your understanding.

@poetaster I have two question: As talked about above I changed to Tooter from Chum instead of Store. Now I have two tooter directories in local/share. I guess the harbour one can be deleted?
And since yesterday Tooter appears double in the list of possible apps when I try to open a link from Eventsview or App grid. Any idea what causes this?

The name of the app changed from harbour-tooterb to just tooterb so the directory had to be changed.
Hmmm. There is a second desktop file in the chum version for dbus stuff, but it should not be visible. But, I just re-installed from CHUM (1.4.3) and it is visible as you say. It’s in progress…
Not sure how that happended, but I’ll fix that now. It might be next week before the fix is available… EDIT: submitted to chum.

Is there a way/option to have the actions (e.g. Favorite, Boost, etc.) at the bottom of the toots without having to long-press on the toots to reveal them? I am a serial-favoriter and it takes quite much time to favorite one toot after another.
