Is TJC gone for good?
Since weeks/months I only get 504 Gateway Time out
Searched here but did not find anything.
If so, where are the entries, bug reports, forum posts, knowledge gone?

I suppose the simplest. The money.
Looking at the challenges of Jolly Boys (hmm…) there is no entity to pay for infrastructure. It looks like it will never go back online. That is my humble opinion.

Peanuts. Especially if another (FSO) also hosted.
Something Maemo e.V. pays since years for infra of TMO!
My guess would be legal issues, but I definitely cannot understand.
And according to the openness of Jolla\Jollyboys do not expect that question to be clarified anytime soon ™.
Just wanted to point out the absolute annoyance of that.
In general I dissagree with your premise with openess. In Community meetings we get answers.
If only cost is an issue then community can chip in in multiple ways.
But I do agree TJC death is annoyance.
