Its just sad to see how our schools have failed us, more focus on reading comprehension needs to be implemented

Really? Just imagine someone realised he was logged in with a different username on his phone and changed the original message to avoid confusion. Please stop insulting people.

This reminds me of a game / test a fun activity I had in school 
The teacher handed out a paper with 20 tasks with increasing complexity.
Task 1: Read all tasks before writing something.
Task 2 → 19: Some random task …
Task 20: Ignore 2 —> 19, write your name in the four corners, and say loudly I like dogs.

My wife is a teacher and I am afraid we are facing an ubiquitous problem here. Pupils these days cannot read and understand long texts anymore but most of their parents and teachers can’t either.
This would not be such a huge problem if not on the other hand people were so convinced of themselves.

Using two separate handles by a single human is the definition of sockpuppeting, I was not insulting you, just noticed this weird behaviour (and wanted to reply before screwup in question got cleaned up by discourse), the only 2 ppl in this thread agreeing with OP about scary heart attack inducing email turned out to be a single person, curious accident nonetheless
