In the top bar, the mobile signal strength is always shown as a single bar, regardless of whether it’s 4G or 5G.
The mobile signal strength is displayed according to its actual strength.
The lowest signal strength is displayed continuously.

I’m quite sure it is not new for .77, since that only touches the eas plugin.
Probably even a duplicate of Really low signal strength on 5.0.0.73 - #24 by fingus
corrected to .76. wanted to point out that I didn’t see it on .73. Good catch
This is known. A fix for too high signal strength being reported seems to have caused in some cases too low values now.
I’ve noticed the same on my Xperia 10 III since last update to .76. It’s not completely consistent, though. At one occasion I saw the bar move slightly, before it parked at one bar again. Weird.
Same on C2 after update to 5.0.0.76 - but everything works so far.
