"Telegram Desktop Application finished with exit code 134"

I recently installed flatpak on my Sony Xperia XA2 with Sailfish Build 3.4.0.24 and I was able to set it up with an account. Someone messaged me and I selected that chat and the chat appeared on the screen. I waited a few seconds and then the Telegram app closed with this on the screen:

“Telegram Desktop Application finished with exit code 134”

It also happens when I select a contact and try to make a call. I turned the phone off and rebooted. It happens again. Otherwise, the app looks great and I can’t wait to use it. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

You are running into a limitation. The xdg portals are currently missing for the flatpak support that allow access to files on your system, access to camera + microphone etc.
This is probably why the app crashes as it does not get access to those things.

As flatpak support is still beta and currently worked on only by community please be patient.

Thanks for the reply. I’m able to view and select preferences so that part seems to be fine. I’ll stay tuned. Thanks for the work on this. I like the XA2, USB tethering, and Sailfish in general. Have a good day.
